Juliette, cellists of the LEJ trio

LEJ is not just a story about music, but also a story of friendship. Born between August and November 1993, Lucie, Elisa, and Juliette grew up in the same building in Saint-Denis . They learned music at the same time, at the Conservatory .

Elisa and Lucie were students at the Radio France Choir School , Juliette continued at the Saint Denis Conservatory before forming LEJ in 2013, as part of a competition that allows you to go on stage.

They win, perform live, and discover their natural stage presence. They play in the most iconic venues in the capital, from the Olympia to La Cigale , as well as at festivals with huge audiences. The rest is history: phenomenal success crowned by a Victoire de la Musique award in 2017 ( Best New Live Act ), their covers of summer hits, a first album, En attendant l'album (Waiting for the Album ), and a second album of original compositions.

Russian dolls.

Lucie plays saxophone and sings. Elisa plays percussion and sings. Juliette plays cello and bass. These multi-instrumentalists hold the score together.
